For the next STORM seminar, Jules Vidal will be giving a presentation titled: Presentation of the article entitled :  Comparative Study of the Perceptual Sensitivity of Topological Visualizations to Feature Variations

Abstract:

I will present a paper from IEEE VIS 2023, that introduces a study of the comparative efficiency of topological tools for the visual analysis of features variations in scientific data. This paper deals with data visualization, topological data analysis, and the conduction of a user study as well as the interpretation of its results. Some of the experiments will be illustrated using a visualization software.
Reading the paper beforehand is not mandatory.
